2017 RESOLUTIONS

Let's start setting goals now
Wolverine student-athlete
resolutions for new year 2107


If you are a student-athlete looking for a new year’s resolution or to add to your what you already decided to change in your routine, check out one or more of the resolves below:

1. BUMP UP THAT GPA if only by .2 or a great deal more!

2. □ DEVELOP A NEW SKILL in your game, outside your sport and/or outside athletics.
3. □ IMPROVE ONE MEASURABLE ATLETIC STAT for a real impact and change!
4. □ VOLUNTEER/ RAISE FUNDS FOR CHARITY. Help others while also developing one's own personality and social skills.

5. □ HIGHEST OF SPORTSMANSHIP: resolve always to behave like a true champion, whether winning, losing, learning or advising.
6. □ BROADEN STUDIES, look into internships and/or study abroad.
7. □ MORE FOCUS & VISION: visualize and commitment to the results you want to achieve each & every day.
8. □ EXERCISE MORE w/aerobics, at the gym, etc. throughout the year to maintain endurance, strength, balance and flexibility!
9. □ JOIN A STUDENT CLUB, meet new people, learn new things outside athletics!
10. □ MORE WATER AND VEGGIES; less soda and fast food!
11. □ RUN, BIKE, SWIM, ETC. MORE, every day, easy to do and it improves health, prevents disease, sheds pounds, builds confidence, relieves stress and eliminates depression.
12. □ BE MORE POSITIVE; stay firm in finding the silver lining, always seeing the bright side.
13. □ INTENSIFY WARM UPS before games; determine to stay warmed up ready to play, ready to bat during games.
14. □ READ MORE. Pick up a book outside of class. Exercise your mind and creativity as well as your body.
15. □ ONE MORE REP in push, pull and resistance exercises.
