Jose Marcano, capturing the
game action from center field
If you follow this blog from now through the 2017 season, you will find plenty of collegiate softball action photography, often amazing shots, snapped at recent Wesley Wolverines games.
The images are captured from all angles of the field, while a great majority are taken through the lens of Jose Marcano, who usually positions himself with tripod and camera deep behind the center field fence.
Jose has been photographing the Wolverine batters, base runners, and outfielders' catches for three seasons now. He is the father of senior #18 C Nina Marcano (Middletown, DE) , but Jose focuses on the play of EVERY Wolverine and shares his work with this blog.
For the most part, Wolverines are identified in each photo that’s part of a blog post. The caption includes a link to the player’s roster biography. Albums of photos also are shared with blog readers. Last season, there were 621 separate blog posts and over 3,800 photos grouped in 45 albums online.

There is no copyright on the pictures. Parents, relatives, and fans are free to download the photos of their daughters and favorite players.
